All I wanted for Christmas

Kicking off 2009  with a new tool. Thank you Richard. My lovely partner (words he will find surprising to read together) gave me a blog for Christmas. Weeks ago I sent him a link to Alicia Paulson's blog "Posie Gets Cozy" and the subject line was "all I want for Christmas". The link was actually to her sewing room which is truly beautiful and inspired me to ask for a gift that didn't take money but rather time. I wanted Rich to see her beautiful working space and make one similar for me in the war torn region of my house known as the "sewing room". It turns out that he thought I meant that I wanted a blog like Alicia Paulson's. I now know that  I did want a blog. Now, there are those of you out there who might know that setting up a blog takes all of 11 seconds or the greater part of 11 days. The upside for Rich is that I don't know which it is and it truly doesn't matter. I have been annoying myself to death with talk of blogging and still no blog. So here it is everyone (all three of you). Hi Ramona, Ginger and Greg. I'm blogging and it feels great.
